About the Project
The Crossroads Energy Storage project is ideally located on roughly 7 acres of light industrial land in Chesapeake, Virginia, where it will interconnect at a 115kV line near the critically important Deep Creek substation. The 100 MW / 400 MWh battery storage project will provide enhanced grid reliability and allow the integration of low-cost, current and future renewable energy resources into the local electrical system. Construction of the Crossroads facility is anticipated to start in 2026.
